TSJ101 Opinion: Thoughts From The Chubby Guy XXX: Change In The Wind… Oops, Someone Farted…

Good morning/afternoon or evening (depending on when you get the chance to read this), this is TSJ101 wrestling writer Gregory Black, and I’m here to bring you yet another installment of TFTCG, on this special Saturday edition.

This year has certainly brought about some craziness so far, the $1 Million PowerBall had the nation in its grips, and apparently, the winner died of a choke overdose (which is why you stick with Pepsi, oh, I know, is not that coke, but, you never know, kids might read my articles), we’ve lost two or three celebs so far, and Bernie Sanders is looking more and more like a Super Saiyan every time I look.

It’s weird, but, those aren’t the only things, in the sports world, we’ve lost a wrestling personality this week, Rest in Peace “Iron” Mike Sharpe, Daniel Bryan was medically cleared by UCLA doctors (but, is still on reserve by the WWE), the Yankees are, or were supposedly looking into Yoenis Céspedes, Kristaps Porzingis’ jersey is the number 4 top selling jersey in the NBA, and the NFL playoffs have winded down to a game of cat vs bird, and soldier vs horse.

Somewhere in there is a Nickelodeon joke, I know it. And not a good one, at that.

But, you know? I guess it all goes with the way life is, changes being made for the new path, I surmise.

What is weird is that all of these changes have been on my mind, as of late, not just the societal and sociological changes going on around, well, all of us, but, the mental and emotional changes that are taking place within my life as we speak, or, um, as… I… Write, while you read?

It’s interesting, because as some doors close, in some cases just down to a slight crack, others look to open, and what could be behind them, well, kind of intimidates me.

Yes, I admit it, life has me intimidated at the moment. Reason being, because in these last couple of years, I’ve had many things change before my eyes, whether I was ready for it or not (usually not), and some things were great, while others… Not so much.

But, with each change, whether situational/mental/emotional or what, I somehow grew in those facets, learning some lesson that I could look back upon, in case life threw me another curve.

And curves seem to be all life throws. But, with each experience, I get better at the swing, better with the contact, and better at handling situations.

Maybe it’s just how life is, then again, life is the greatest and harshest teacher around.

It is what it is.

But, enough about that, what other things I’ve had in mind? Well…

I think the city of Philly has had a bit of a rough run recently, they had to deal with Chip Kelly, they had to see their baseball team have an odd season, and now, one of their most promising hip hop artists is the laughing stock of the internet. I thought the “Meek” were to inherit the Earth, not get Earthed.

If you haven’t heard Donald Trump‘s campaign theme song yet, it sounds like one of those 80s kids’ show songs, no, not the ones from Sesame Street, no, I’m talking about the b-rated, bootleg shows. Yeah, it’s bad.

Lebron James looked like he wanted to cry when Steph Curry stripped him off the ball during the Cavs/Warriors game. Didn’t look as bad as when he cried earlier in his career, but, yeah, tired tantrum was the look of it.

Is curling still considered a sport? If so, why?

Why hasn’t Disney brought back “The Mighty Ducks” cartoon? That show  awesome.

Am I the only one who finds the Brady vs Manning “Four Rings vs Forehead” meme more hysterical than it is?

I mean wow, never noticed how huge Peyton’s forehead was until that pic, and brings to question why he even wears a helmet with a dome like that.

Might as well shave the team logo onto the side of his head and let him rip.

Yeah, Ronda Rousey would be a shoo in to become WWE Divas’ Champion if she were to join. After seeing her housing around with one of her buddies in a recent video, me thinks she would be awesome.

A feud between her and Kana/Asuka would probably be legendary.

Bull Nakano is looking incredible these days.

Sarah Palin recently endorsed The Dumba..erm, I mean, The Donald.

The joke writes itself.

It’s a snowstorm in Atlanta, but in NYC, this is Tuesday.

I totally want to face Seth Rollins in Madden. But, Coughlin is still coaching the G-Men in that game, so, I’ll be up until the 4th Quarter.

How can Donald Trump hate Mexicans, when his hair piece is doing the Mexican wave?

Bray Wyatt has very little to go, before he can take the reins as the new dark, methodical figure in the wrestling world.

But, seeing how he is a cross between Waylon Mercy and Taker, I would love to see him do something with Mercy. Oh, sure, Mercy hasn’t wrestled in the ‘E in ages, but, I think it would be cool to see.

What ever happened to that “Leave Britney Alone” guy, Chris Crocker? Last I heard, he was in the film industry.

No jokes about him, I’m trying to be as “Adult” as possible.

Tay Zonday is a happenin’ dude.

Did it really take me two and a half hours to get home from work? Damned delays.

The MTA may as well stand for (M)ight just (T)ake your (A)ssets.

I hear the Niners were looking for the goose who laid the golden eggs, but wound up with loon who flew the Eagles’ nest instead.

Got my new glasses, rocking out like Burt Reynolds. You like?

And finally, people, today, if you’re on the east coast, that snowstorm is rocking the place. If you don’t have to head outside, stay home, stay warm, and stay safe. All of us here are doing so, and we sincerely hope you guys are doing so too.

But, if you are heading outside to play in the snow, bundle up, and remember that the best thing to have after building yourself a snowman is a nice warm cup of cocoa, and a nice read here, on ThaSportsJunkies101.com.

I thank you, dear readers, for spending a little more time in reading my thoughts, and hope that you got a nice laugh out of them, but also were inspired by what was written here. Perhaps it brought a smile to you, and you know what they say, smiles are awfully contagious.

Well, until the next article, my friend, this is Gregory Black, wishing a safe snow day, a safer weekend, and a happy start to the week ahead.

So long, folks.
