Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger hints he may leave the club at the end of the season

London, England – Arsene Wenger hinted he may leave Arsenal at the end of the season at a press conference Friday.

“No matter what happens I will manage next season, whether it is here or elsewhere.”

After Wednesday’s 5-1 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich, Wenger has been the main topic of news lines with a possible exit.

The 67-year-old’s contract expires at the end of this season and will decide on a new deal between March/April. Not to mention, he would be ending a 21-year association with Arsenal.

All things considered, a move to a Premier League rival appears unlikely, but clubs around Europe have shown interest.

Wenger’s Arsenal have only won a Premier League in 2004 and three FA Cups as the only major silverware to show for.

However, his team has qualified year after year to Champions League while the club grow financial.

Given these points, Arsenal has failed to overcome last 16 stage every season since 2011.

It’s still too soon to say, but several jobs will open this summer such as Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
