Jose Mourinho hints his deal with Manchester United is a ‘done deal’

EPL

Manchester, England – Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has told friends he is certain to replace Louis van Gaal at the end of the season, calling the current situation with Manchester United a ‘done deal’.

Sportsmail revealed at the weekend that the Portuguese was on the verge of agreeing terms to replace Louis van Gaal.

Mourinho was sacked from his position with Chelsea this past December but it is widely known he would relish the chance to take over at United. He had once been mentioned with a move to the club when Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

If it were to happen, it will bring a two-year reign by a troubled Van Gaal and a poor-performance by the club since 2013 when Ferguson stepped down.

The Dutchman will still have a year remaining on his United contract, but he has not impressed after being backed to the tune of hundreds of millions of pounds in the transfer market yet failing to win any silverware.
