West Ham have signed Sofiane Feghouli

London, England – The Hammers of West Ham have signed Sofiane Feghouli for three years on a free transfer from La Liga club Valencia, according to Jack Sullivan, son of the club’s co-chairman, David Sullivan.

The announcement of the signing of the Algeria international was made on Twitter by the Hammers’ by the son of the co-chairman David Sullivan.

Later in the morning, West Ham confirmed the announcement on Twitter:

The 26-year-old’s contract with the Spanish club expires this summer but has not been part of the club since being separated for insubordination and failing to participate in practices with the team.

The Algerian has also been linked with a move to Benfica.

Feghouli has made 29 appearances for Valencia this season, scoring four times and registering two assists. Additionally, he has bagged 29 goals and 27 assists for the La Liga giants in the last six years.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has also confirmed that he is interested in signing Besiktas duo Atiba Hutchinson and Gokhan Tore.

West Ham have already snapped up one player on a free transfer this summer, as Havard Nordtveit has joined from Borussia Monchengladbach.
