Scott Hall Hospitalized while Overseas

English promoter and wrestler, Ricky Knight, confirmed on Sunday night that Scott Hall had fallen ill during his stay in England. Ricky Knight’s Twitter post read:

“I can confirm Scott Hall was taken ill tonight at the WAW show in Lowestoft; we are at the hospital now after tests; early signs are positive, and we hope to take him to our home soon.”

Scott Hall was backstage during Ricky Knight’s promotion, WAW. Hall is a dear friend of the Knight family, including current WWE superstar, Paige.

During the event, he complained of chest pains. Hall has had a history of heart problems in the past. In 2010, he underwent a surgery that resulted in a defibrillator and a pacemaker placed into his chest. Hall has also admitted to some drug use in the past, which could possibly be connected to some of his ongoing health issues.

Scott Hall gained momentum quickly in 1992 in the WWE. He wrestled under the ring name Razor Ramon through 1996. Hall claimed four intercontinental championship belts from WWE. He would then move on to the promotion’s rival, WCW.

From there, Hall went on to form the ever-popular faction, the New World Order (NWO) alongside Kevin Nash. The group’s popularity skyrocketed, resulting in the WCW vs. WWE (formerly WWF) Monday Night Wars. After WCW’s collapse, Hall would shortly re-join WWE as a member of the NWO along with Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash.

In April 2014, Scott Hall was inducted into the WWE’s Hall of Fame by his good friend, Kevin Nash. His dear friends from the group known as the “Kliq” were in attendance as he gave his speech. This group consisted of Nash, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman.
