WWE Accidentally Spoils the NXT TakeOver: New Orleans Card

With WrestleMania weekend less than a month away, we are finally seeing storylines come together that will truly engage the fans. But not only are we watching the main roster gear up for New Orleans, we’re seeing NXT get ready, too. Unfortunately, the WWE accidentally spoiled NXT TakeOver‘s match card despite having not fully developed their own stories yet.

WWE posted on their official Facebook page the entire match card for the TakeOver event. Of course, the post was immediately deleted. Interestingly enough, the only match that wasn’t already confirmed from the NXT tapings was Johnny Gargano vs. Tomasso Ciampa.

It will be fun to see where that feud goes in the next few weeks. In the meantime, here is the full card, including what’s already been revealed at prior tapings:

NXT Championship match: Andrade Cien Almas (c) w/Zelina Vega vs. Aleister Black.

Unsanctioned match: Johnny Gargano vs. Tomasso Ciampa.

NXT Women’s Championship match: Ember Moon (c) vs. Shayna Baszler.

NXT Tag Team Championship match: Adam Cole (replacing Bobby Fish, who is out with an injury) and Kyle O’Reilly (c) vs. Roderick Strong and the WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne vs. The Authors of Pain.

NXT North American Championship ladder match: EC3 vs. Killian Dain vs. Lars Sullivan vs. Adam Cole vs. Velveteen Dream vs. Ricochet.

This is going to be a jaw-dropping night. We’ve already seen what these folks can do, but they always deliver a thousand times over on WrestleMania weekend. Personally, I don’t know what I’m most excited to see. I really liked the Ember Moon/Shayna match from the last TakeOver, and I’m interested to see if they give Shayna the belt this time. She looked fantastic during that bout, an extreme heel and threat to Ember’s beloved belt. Besides, it’s almost time for the NXT Women’s Champion to make her main roster debut.

But…that new Championship belt is going to be phenomenal. And no, I don’t mean that phenomenal. Every talent in that match is deserving, and I think it may very well be the best match on the card.

However, Aleister Black and Andrade will also be a huge match. Aleister’s had arguably the greatest year of anyone. But then again, Andrade has Zelina Vega on his side.

So, what matches are you guys most excited to see? Do you think there will be any matches they haven’t announced yet? Do you really think this was “accidentally” leaked? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
