A hallmark event in Speedweeks, the Can-Am Duels at Daytona starting lineup is below.

Cup Series drivers run the Duel along with The Clash and the Daytona 500 throughout Speedweeks.

Can-Am Duel #1 consists of odd-numbered drivers, while Duel #2 makes up the even-numbered drivers.

The twin 60 lap races determine the full starting field for the Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb 18th at 2:30 on Fox.

Alex Bowman sits on the pole for the Great American Race.

Bowman is just the fourth driver to take the #88 car to sit on the pole for The Daytona 500.

Drivers such as Dale Earnhardt Jr, Dale Jarrett, and Donny Allison, have also driven the iconic #88

Denny Hamlin starts second in the #11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota at Daytona and will roll off first in the 2nd round of the Duels.

For the second straight year, the top 10 finishers in the Duels receive championship points.

The Can-Am Duels take place on Thursday, February 15th at 7PM on FS1, as well as MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Ch. 90.

Q: How are points awarded?

A: Similar to stage racing, the winners of each duel receive 10 points, down to the 10th place driver who receives 1 point.

Q: What if the duels are rained out?

A:  Qualifying results will be used to determine the four open teams that would advance if both duels are rained out.

Q: What about the drivers locked into the front row? How important are the duels to them?

A: Drivers need to avoid any sort of wrecks or mechanical issues in order to keep their starting spots.

Q: How do the duels set the Daytona 500 lineup?

A: It determines the majority of the starting lineup for The Great American Race, since the single-car qualifying on February 11th only determines the top two starting spots.
