If there is a team that knows how to win at Road America, it’s Richard Childress Racing.

And if they can pick up another win this weekend, it will be their fourth consecutive team win at the 4 mile road course.

Brendan Gaughn was the first driver to visit victory lane back in 2014. Paul Menard won in 2015 and Michael McDowell took the checkered flag last season.

The feat of winning four or more consecutive races at one track in the Xfinity Series has happened nine times. Joe Gibbs Racing leads the pack with 8 consecutive wins and appears on the list below multiple times

This is a list of the nine teams that have four or more consecutive wins at a single track and the years in which that feat was accomplished.

If RCR can pull off a win at Road America this weekend, it will be the second time an organization has won four or more consecutive races at a single track. The first time RCR did it was in Richmond during the 05-07 seasons.

This weekend at Road America RCR will be fielding five cars. Ben Kennedy will be driving the #2 Rudd Chevy, Scott Lagasse Jr will pilot the #3, Daniel Hemric will drive the #21 for Blue Gate Bank, Brendan Gaughan will wheel the #62 South Point Hotel and Casino Chevy, and Brandon Jones rounds out the team’s driver lineup, piloting the #33 Camaro for Menard’s.

Road America, located near Elkhart Lake, WI, has hosted races since the 1950’s.

It is a legendary four mile, 14 turn road circuit that has challenged the world’s best racers.

The track is also home to the CTECH Manufacturing Motorplex and the Road America Motorcycle and Advanced Driving schools.

The Xfinity Series Johnsonville 180 will take place on August 27th at 3pm and airs on NBCSN.
