Fabio Coentrao Completes Sporting Lisbon Move

Madrid, Spain – Fabio Coentrao passes a medical at Sporting Lisbon ahead of completing a season-long loan deal. Coentrao completes Sporting Lisbon move after failing to impress Zinedine Zidane to back up Marcelo.

Marca reports that both sides agree on a one-year loan deal for the defender. However, Florentino Perez did not reveal details, telling Onda Cero that “it seems Coentrao is set to go to Sporting.”

The left back joined Real in 2011 from Sporting’s rivals Benfica for a reported fee of 33 million euros. Coentrao has played 106 games in five full seasons for Real, spending the 2015-16 campaign on loan at Monaco.

Additionally, Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu will join Coentrao, with A Bola reporting that the France international has completed a medical at Sporting.

Also, no decision has been on Marcos Llorente. However, a possible loan exist for Marino and Diego Llorente.
