Could Lewandowski leave Bayern?

London, England – According to reports Poland international Robert Lewandowski could be set for a stunning move to the Premier League this summer. The Bayern Munich striker is understood to be unhappy at Bayern according to the Daily Mail. He is reportedly upset at his club team mates for not helping him score more goals last season. Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre Emerick Aubameyang beat Lewandowski to Bundesliga’s top scorer award by a single goal.

Unsurprisingly this news has put some of Europe’s biggest clubs on alert. According to Sky sports both Manchester United and Chelsea have held talks with his representatives. However, the 28 year old signed a new contract in December. Meaning any move will likely cost upwards of £100 million.

Lewandowski at Bayern Munich

Lewandowski joined Bayern Munich on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2014. Since joining Bayern he has proven himself as one of the worlds best strikers. He has scored 110 goals in 147 appearances. His goals have helped Bayern win the Bundesliga in the last three seasons. While he has also claimed Bundesliga’s top scorer award twice.

What difference would he make at Chelsea?

Last seasons Premier League Champions Chelsea will hope Lewandowski can help aid their title defense. Antonio Conte has reportedly told Diego Costa that he can leave the club this summer. Costa’s potential departure would leave Conte with a huge hole to fill in his squad. The Poland captain’s prolific goal scoring ability would fill that hole.

What difference would he make at Manchester United?

Man United face a similar problem to Chelsea this summer. Jose Mourinho has decided not to extend Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract. After the Swede picked up a cruciate ligament injury. Robert Lewandowski could be the perfect replacement. United struggled for goals last term. Additionally, with Lewandowski upfront they would have a forward who could fire them back into the top four.
