Premier League

Premier League transfer window closes in just two weeks. Many players have been linked with moves before the end of the window.

Here are four key players who could leave their club before the Premier League transfer window closes.

Phillipe Coutinho

Liverpool’s Brazilian midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona this summer. Barcelona are looking to replace Neymar who joined PSG in a world record deal this window.

Liverpool have reportedly turned down a bid worth up to £90 million from Barcelona. However the 25 year old has since handed in a transfer request.

Coutinho has missed Liverpool’s first two games of the season at Watford and Hoffenhiem. Manager Jurgen Klopp has also confirmed he will miss their game at home to Crystal Palace this weekend.

Coutinho could be allowed to leave if Liverpool can sign a replacement before the window closes.

Alexis Sanchez

Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez has been linked with a move away from the Emirates all summer.

The Chilean is out of contract next summer and Arsenal could look to cash in if they receive a high enough offer.

Bayern Munich and Manchester City have been linked with Sanchez. However Bayern look to have cooled their interest after singing James Rodriguez from Real Madrid.

Man City could yet secure a deal for the 28 year old. Although Arsene Wenger could be reluctant to sell him to a title rival.

Virgil Van Dijk

Southampton’s Virgil Van Dijk has been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer. The former Celtic center half has excelled in the Premier League since joining in 2015.

The Dutch international has handed in a transfer request. However Southampton have insisted he is not for sale.

If Liverpool sell Coutinho to Barcelona they could step up their bid for Van Dijk.

Diego Costa

The Brazilian born Spanish International looks set to leave Chelsea. Antonio Conte has reportedly told Costa he is not a part of his plans this season.

Costa has not returned for training at Chelsea and hopes to rejoin Atletico Madrid.

However the Spanish side are under a transfer embargo until January. If Costa signs for Atletico he may go out on loan until January.
