Aspen Dental Expands Sponsorship of Danica Patrick

Just over a week after losing sponsor Nature’s Bakery due to non-payment, Stewart Haas Racing didn’t have to look far and long for a new one. In fact, it’s one of their current sponsors.

Aspen Dental has expanded it’s sponsorship of Danica Patrick and SHR for the 2017 season. The New York based dentistry chain will sponsor Danica Patrick for a “double-digit” amount of races beginning at the Daytona 500 later this month. Additionally, Aspen will take over as a lead sponsor of the 10 car this season.

“Our commitment to Danica Patrick goes back almost four years and our relationship with SHR even further.” said Bob Fontana, CEO of Aspen Dental said in a press release “Danica and Stewart-Haas Racing have encouraged fans to get started on the road to better oral health care while showcasing how Aspen Dental practices make it easy for them.”

Stewart-Haas Racing already had an relationship with Aspen since 2012 and has served as a primary sponsor for Danica since 2014 in a limited number of races each season. During that time, she has brought multiple oral awareness programs to race fans on and off the race track for Aspen Dental.

“In the years since I first partnered with Aspen Dental, it’s been fun to work on some unique projects with their team.” Danica Patrick said in a team press release. “From the ‘Taste of the Future’ video to launching the MouthMobile and then having the ‘Turbocharged Tooth Fairy Squad’ at Talladega last spring, we’ve worked together on some pretty impactful programs. It’s incredible to see firsthand how many people they’ve helped. I’m looking forward to delivering the company’s message at even more races this year.”
