Chase Daniel Signs Deal With Eagles

Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia Eagles and quarterback Chase Daniel have agreed on a multi-year deal.

Daniel, 29, has been the backup quarterback in Kansas City, where he was coached by Eagles head coach Doug Pederson.

Daniel will back up starting quarterback Sam Bradford in Philadelphia. It is unclear what his addition means for the future of Mark Sanchez in Philadelphia.

Before joining the Chiefs, Daniels was Drew Brees’ backup for three seasons with the Saints. In New Orleans, he threw just nine passes.

In his career, Daniel has played in 55 games, but has just two starts. He’s completed 50 of 77 career passes for 464 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
