Clippers Blake Griffin Out With Hand Injury

Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin has reportedly sustained a fracture in his right hand that is expected to sideline him for weeks, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne.

The injury was reportedly sustained in an undisclosed team incident and required Griffin to return to Los Angeles early while the team is in the midst of a five-game Eastern Conference road trip.

Griffin is averaging 23.2 points with 8.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists through 30 games this season. He has not seen any action since Christmas, when he sustained a torn quadriceps muscle in a win over  the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Clippers have gone 11-3 since Griffin went out, however, only two of those wins have come against teams with winning records.
