Dani Alves Joins Juventus

Turin, Italy – Brazilian right back Dani Alves has agreed to terms to a two-year contract with Juventus until June 2018 with a third year option.

In a statement, the Bianconeri announced the signing Monday morning “Juventus Football Club can today confirm that Dani Alves has agreed terms on a two-year contract with the club until 30 June 2018 with an option for an additional year.”

The Brazilian, who departed Barcelona at the end of last season after eight years at Camp Nou, underwent a medical on Monday morning in Turin and was greeted by hundreds of Bianconeri supporters upon arrival.

He becomes the Serie A champions’ third signing of the summer, following the acquisition of Miralem Pjanic from Roma and Mario Lemina from Marseille.

The 33-year-old won three Champions Leagues, six La Liga titles and four Copa del Rey trophies during his eight-year stint at the Catalan club.
