The Predators tried to take a 3-0 series lead for the first time in franchise history, but they expected the Ducks to play their best game of the series and would try to feed off of the home crowd to match that energy.

Sami Vatanen fired the puck wide of the net, but Rickard Rakell redirected it between his legs and into the net to make it a 2-0 game at 11:33 of the second period.
Chris Stewart was stoned in front after one-timing a beauty from Ryan Getzlaf, but buried his own rebound to extend the Ducks’ lead to 3-0 at 17:06.
The Ducks shutout the Preds 3-0 in Game 3. Frederik Andersen made 27 saves for Anaheim while Rinne made 18 saves for Nashville.
