Edgardo Bauza became Argentina’s new manager

Buenos Aires, Argentina – Rumors about the new Argentina manager had surfaced around Edgardo Bauza, Ramon Diaz and Miguel Angel Russo. Tato Aguilera from TyC Sports posted on Twitter that Edgardo “Paton” Bauza, who is currently coaching Sao Paulo in Brazil, will be named the next Argentina national team manager and that it is only a matter of time.

An announcement could be made in the next few hours. There are also rumors that should that be the case, Jorge Burruchaga could join his coaching staff.

Bauza has won two Copa Libertadores titles. One with Quito in 2008 and one as recent as the 2014 edition with San Lorenzo.
