Front Row Motorsports Finishes Indy Strong

Front Row Motorsports teammates Landon Cassill and Chris Buescher have both been running strong of late.  On Sunday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, they both got finishes to match.

Buescher brought his Love’s Travel Stops Ford home a career best 14th in the Ctown Royal 400 at the Brickyard. The rookie bested his previous high finish by four positions. It was a sweet bit of redemption for Buescher, who was running in the top 20 two weeks ago at Kentucky Speedway before getting swept up in an accident on the backstretch. He also saw a promising run go by the wayside after a spin last week at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The 2015 Xfinity Series champion has demonstrated that with a little luck, he can get solid finishes for his team.

For Cassill, it was another sign of his consistent over-achievement. Landon has regularly taken his Front Row number 38 Snap Fitness cars that many expect to run in the mid 30s and driven to finishes 10 to 15 positions better than that. His 20th place run was his fourth best of the season, however Cassill has only 4 finishes in the 30s all season. By comparison, Sunday’s winner Kyle Busch also has 4 such finishes. Cassill also has led 20 laps and has been running at the finish of every race this season.

Front Row Motorsports as a NASCAR Sprint Cup team has one career win with David Ragan at Talladega in 2013. Every top 10 finish the team has was at either Daytona or Talladega with the exception of a 2014 10th place by Ragan at Martinsville. However, with the improvement this team is showing, expect both drivers to add to that total in the near future.
