Gonzalo Higuain completes Juventus transfer from Napoli

Turin, Italy – Gonzalo Higuain is moving to Juventus after the Italian champions stumped up for his 94 million euros release clause.

The Argentina international has signed a four-year contract with the Serie A champions worth 7.5 million euros per season and will become the third most expensive player of all time.

Higuain underwent a medical in Spain last week and has now sealed his big move, which has been registered on the Serie A website.

Higuain scored a stunning 36 league goals in 2015/16, equaling the Italian record for the most in a top-flight campaign.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid had all shown interest in the 28-year-old but Napoli held firm on their valuation.
