StarCom Racing has inked a deal with Jeffrey Earnhardt to run the 2018 Daytona 500.

The Great American Race will include an Earnhardt on the starting grid for the 40th straight year.

SCR is also showcasing a new partner, VRX Simulators,

VRX is a Canadian company that creates the world’s most advanced racing and flight simulators for homes and businesses.

Daytona is the first race for this new sponsor as part of its brand new Motorsports program.

“I’m very proud to partner with Jeffrey Earnhardt and StarCom Racing”, said Robert Stanners, founder of VRX Simulators. “We’re here to change NASCAR forever.”

“I am so appreciative of everyone at StarCom Racing and VRX for having confidence in me and making this a reality,” Earnhardt said.

“There has been an Earnhardt driving in the 500 for 39 years and to be able to keep that streak going for a 40th year means a lot to me.”

Earnhardt is a fourth generation Cup Series driver.

SCR Team Manager and former Daytona 500 winner Derrike Cope has worked tirelessly to put StarCom Racing in the best equipment possible for the 2018 season.

With the help of Crew Chief Tony Furr, SCR looks to make sure the team is geared up for Daytona.

Cope’s experience, along with Earnhardt’s tenacity, will be a dynamic duo both on and off the track as they combine forces this year.

“It was imperative for our young team to bring a sponsored driver in our start-up year. We felt that Jeffrey was a good fit,” said Cope.

“I knew Derrike casually before, but I didn’t realize how much he knows about race cars,” Earnhardt said.

VRX has been working on this partnership for seven years, and it is finally go time.

StarCom racing will also be competing the rest of the 2018 MENCS season under it’s new 2018 charter.
