This weekend, NASCAR’s finest head to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Kobalt 400. This is the third race of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season. In last year’s race, Brad Keselowski outlasted the competition to win this race over Joey Logano.

Keselowski Enter Title Defense With Momentum.: It’s no secret Keselowski enters this weekend’s Kobalt 400 with an advantage. He has won 2 of the last 3 races held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on top of last weekend’s win at Atlanta. He also enters this race 3rd in the points standings and with a Chase birth in hand. Can he make it 3 out of the last 4 in Sin City?

Youth Movement Continues To Start Strong.: NASCAR’s young guns continued their great start last weekend thanks to Kyle Larson. He nearly snagged his second career win last weekend before being passed with six to go. In fact, five of the top 10 in points entering the Kobalt 400 are 26 year old or younger. Chase Elliott, Joey Logano, Larson, Ryan Blaney, and Trevor Bayne are included in that top 10.

Toyota Fading?: In the first two races of the still newborn season, it seems like Ford and Chevy has caught up to Toyota. The manufacture has only one top 5 in the first 2 races combined (Kenseth at Atlanta) and only 3 finishes inside the Top 10. Can Joe Gibbs Racing and Furniture Row Racing change Toyota’s fortunes this weekend?

Home Race For Two.: This weekend’s Kobalt 400 marks as a homecoming for Las Vegas natives Kurt and Kyle Busch. Both sunk their teeth into the sport in the short track scene in the area and eventually became champions. But, the two only combine for one win that LVMS and sometimes has struggled at the track.

Fantasy Insider.: Here are some drivers to use, avoid, and even some sleepers to watch out for during the Kobat 400 race weekend. Must use drivers include Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Sleepers include A.J. Allmendinger, Ryan Newman, Ryan Blaney, and Kasey Kahne. Must avoid drivers include Matt Kenseth, Kyle Larson, Jimmie Johnson, and Aric Almirola.

When And Where To Watch.: The Kobalt 400 Starts Sunday at 3:30pm EST on your local FOX affiliate.
