Lincecum, Angels Reach Deal

MLB – Tim Lincecum

2-time NL Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum and the Angels have agreed to a 1 year, $2.5 million deal. The Angels have filled a huge hole in their rotation after Opening day

Lincecum has not pitched in the majors since June 27th, 2015. He will need to make a couple minor league rehab starts before joining the Angels rotation.

From 2008-2011, Lincecum was one of the best pitchers in the majors. He averaged 16 wins with a 2.81 ERA.

In 2015, Lincecum had a 4.13 ERA in 15 starts before having season ending hip surgery. If Lincecum can return to his former glory, the Angels will be getting a steal.
