Manchester City looks to take Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo

Barcelona, Spain – Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is expected to travel to England on Thursday to finalize his move to Manchester City, according to reports from Sport and Mundo Deportivo.

The deal is said to be for a figure between 18 to 25 million euros, all depending on variables that depend on the players playing time.

Rumors, however, indicated that Pep Guardiola was interested in the second Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen but his recent injury may have lowered his stock.

Guardiola has a big pickle at goal in Manchester, Joe Hart has been rumored to leave the club and could be joining Everton and Argentinian Willy Cabellero did not play to expectations against Sunderland in City’s first Premier League match.

The signing of Bravo, however, would address Manchester City biggest area of concern.

For Barcelona, the decision was based on age, Bravo is 33 while Ter Stegen is 24 and will is considered the long-term goalie for the club.

The announcement should come in the next couple of days.
