Mexico finds in Marcelo Bielsa a suitable replacement for Juan Carlos Osorio

Mexico City, Mexico – According to Mexican media outlet Record, the Mexican soccer federation (FMF) plans to terminate Colombian manager Juan Carlos Osorio with Argentinian strategist Marcelo Bielsa.

Despite easily qualifying to CONCACAF’s Hexagonal, the horrific lost to Chile by 0-7 in Copa America Centernario has left El Tri and Osorio in bad terms with the fans and the federation.

Record indicates that the Mexican Federation board will go for Bielsa, knowing or classifying  “difficult choice” and that ” his plan is crazy.” In fact they ensure that they will try to convince through another Argentine: Matias Almeyda, current coach of Chivas of Guadalajara

What they find difficult is convincing Bielsa to commit knowing that Osorio still at the helm.

Mexico for years has wanted to compete with great soccer nations like Brazil, Argentina, Italy and Germany but has had a difficult time getting to that peak playing against underdeveloped nations in CONCACAF.
