MLB and the Miami Marlins unveil logo for 88th All-Star game

Today, the Miami Marlins and major league baseball revealed the official logo for the 2017 midsummer’s classic. Along with the MLB commissioner, Jeff Conine, Mayor Carlos Gimenez of Miami-Dade county and Mayor Tomas Regalado of the city of Miami were in attendance.

The logo itself incorporates the Marlins logo into the background. An orange, blue and yellow star is the back drop with the orange and blue “marlin” coming out of the star. In front of the star are the words “2017” with “Miami” directly below that and “All-Star Game” below that.

Commissioner Manfred had this to say about the 2017 All-Star game.

“Major League Baseball is very pleased to bring the All-Star Game to Miami for the first time in 2017…”

Tickets for the All-Star game go on sale but available tickets to the game will be limited. Marlins season ticket holders will be the first fans to get the chance to buy tickets.

The 88th MLB All-Star will be July 11th, 2017 at Marlins Park. This is a fitting time for the All-Star game to come to Miami as the Marlins are celebrating 25 years as a franchise in 2017.
