The Baltimore Ravens announced a self-funded, $120 million, three phase renovation. The goal of this renovation is to “enrich our gameday experience by delivering added convenience, entertainment and excitement,” according to Ravens president Dick Cass.

The first phase is estimated at $32 million. It will be completed before the 2017 season kicks off. This phase is focused on video displays.

First are the two new video boards behind each end zone. It measures at 200 feet wide and 36 feet high. They will provide the highest quality picture of any stadium in the United States.

Eleven new cameras will be added to improve angles of coverage all over the stadium, along with the addition of new LED ribbon displays. In all, 28,000 square feet of video display will be installed.

Phases two and three will be completed after the 2017 and 2018 season, respectively. They will consist of elevators and escalators to the upper levels, new corner suites and video boards. And club level and kitchen improvements.

The new suites will be installed in the open corners of the upper bowl. And the 33 foot wide and 44 foot tall boards will be featured right above the suites. The boards will provide fans with scores and information from around the league along with in game footage.

Club level seating will receive a multitude of upgrades to improve fan experience. Improvements will range from design and comfort, to audio/video features, to quality of service and food options. Also, the stadiums kitchen facilities are receiving upgrades to improve quality of food across the entire venue.

Finally, a new sound system will be installed in the stadium’s seating bowl. It provides a more immersive experience for fans to enjoy and watch the game with.

These upgrades look to improve the entire stadium over the next three years. They also look to continue M&T Bank Stadium being among the top rank of venues and experiences a fan can have.
