Premier League

The premier league is just about coming to an end. But just who is going to finish where? Will United get top 4? Will Arsenal finally miss out?

1-Chelsea-91 points

I can’t see anyone other then Chelsea taking the title. They are far too strong for anyone to catch. Eden Hazard has been a revelation this season. Pedro has arguably been even better and the recreation of Victor Moses has been a genius move by Antonio Conte. Despite the small Diego Costa story earlier in the season it has been near perfect from the London club. Chelsea take the title for sure.

2- City- 82 points

Manchester City  will grab second place simply because of their experience in winning big games. Last season we saw Tottenham fall at the last hurdle for second place and I believe we’ll see it again this season. Sergio Aguero has been there when needed this season, Kevin De Bruyne has been superb and Sane is just hitting form. City will need a big defensive reshuffle though if they are to ever properly challenge for the league again. Pep Guardiola has found it difficult in his first season and hasn’t adjusted as well as many thought he would. City fans worldwide will be hoping next season is different from the Spanish man.

3- Tottenham- 77 Points

A position Tottenham fans may not be happy with but it shows they are on the up in terms of consistency. They have had a brilliant season and are currently second, but City play Stoke tonight in their game in hand and I believe they will kick on from then on. Spurs main players have been unbelievable this season. Harry Kane continues to prove he is far from a one season wonder. Christian Eriksen continues to showcase his undeniable talent. And Kyle Walker and Danny Rose have been second to none in the full back positions. Despite that I see them missing out on second due to lack of experience, but they can be delighted with a third place finish.

4-Liverpool- 76 Points

Liverpool back in Europe again. Liverpool and Tottenham will be so close in terms of points but I see Liverpool slipping up in three games. City, Everton and Stoke. Liverpool have played the best football in the league this season at times. With Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino being their main players. Mane has been in the form of his life especially, scoring 12 goals this season for the Reds. Liverpool’s defence is the main reason they won’t finish higher this season. The back four has lost them numerous games. But Liverpool will  be happy to be returning to Europe and would definitely have took this position at the beginning of the season.

5- Arsenal- 73 Points

For the first time in 20 years I envision Arsenal missing out on Europe. They have been so poor heartless and lazy this season that I can not see them saving their season in the remaining games. Many fans are looking for the sacking of their legendary manager Arsene Wenger. Some have even went as far as to hold banners outside the ground asking for his head. Alexis Sanchez has been their best player this season. Mezut Ozil has surprisingly been their worst, his laziness and bad attitude has cost Arsenal many games this season. The Gunners will be disappointed to miss out on Europe but may be happy if it means the sacking of Arsene Wenger.

6- Manchester United- 72 Points

Despite their rejuvenation under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho this season I see Manchester United missing out on a top 4 spot again this season. And while that may be catastrophic for the club financially they could still win the Europa League which would still see them compete in the Champions League next season. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been a revelation for United this season, scoring 15 goals. Ander Herrera has also been brilliant this season. He has saved United on numerous occasions. Despite the signing Paul Pogba United are too inconsistent to finish in the top 4 and will need to go back to the drawing board in order to fix this next season.
