Racial Ball, LaVar Ball Has Interesting Words About White basketball Players!

LaVar Ball strikes again!

LaVar Ball has been all over the sports world with interesting accusations. From claiming that his son Lonzo Ball is better than Steph Curry, all the way to saying he could beat arguably the greatest of all time, Michael Jordan! LaVar Ball has recently made a controversial statement regarding white players in the sport of basketball. “Realistically you can’t win no championship with three white guys because the foot speed is too slow, I told Lonzo—’One of these games you might need to go for 30 or 40 points.’ It turned out that was the one game. Then once they get to the Elite Eight, they’re right there.” As a result, the backlash for this comment will most likely occur in this weeks sports debate shows.

TSJ’s Thoughts on Ball’s racial comments.

“I believe that LaVar Ball is quite a hindrance to his son’s career. The comments Mr. Ball makes publicly are those of someone seeking attention rather than those of a supportive parent. Lonzo’s father is going to create a situation where his son is the one paying the price for his ignorance. LaVar creates a situation in which Lonzo becomes a liability rather than an asset to any NBA team because of his (father’s) mouth.”

Chami Hughes, Chicago Bears writer.

“While Lavar Ball’s most recent ostentatious comments are ignorant and regretful, what exactly it means for Lonzo’s draft stock remains to be seen. One thing is for certain: The beginning of the end for Lonzo will be the day his dad gets a Twitter account.”

Cranjis McBasketball, Los Angeles Lakers writer.

“LaVar Ball is like the hungry, homeless dog that shows up everyday. As an industry, we need to quit feeding him by giving him the air time he carves before he ruins his son’s career prospects.”

“White Basketball Players.”

LaVar Ball’s statement on white basketball players is very intriguing, especially with the fact that his children, Lonzo, LaMelo, and LiAngelo, are half white. This has been a rocky year for sports media in terms of covering racial situations in each respected league or association. No matter the views people have about certain races in sports, one thing is for certain: There is no room for racial stereotypes in any sports.
