Juventus Confirms Real Madrid Buy Out of Alvaro Morata

Madrid, Spain – Juventus’ Alvaro Morata set for Real Madrid return this summer, per club’s GM Beppe Marotta.

Madrid have an option to buy back Morata, for a predetermined fee as part of the deal which saw the Spaniard join Juve two years ago.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Real have officially communicated to Juventus that they will pay 30 million euros to take back Moratta.

“Real Madrid are going to exercise their right to buy him back,” Marotta said. “We’re just waiting for them to get in touch and then we’ll see, but the chance of him staying is slim.”

Furthermore, Morata’s clause will expire on June 30 and Madrid have only one week to complete the deal.

With Morata out, Juve will renew attempt to sign Domenico Berardi from Sassuolo. However, this transition may be difficult after Sassuolo rejected the initial approach.

Reports from Spain indicate that Real Madrid will resale Moratta or use him in a trade with Paris Saint-Germain Paul Pogba. However, he would stay with the Blancos if Jese Rodriguez, James Rodriguez or Isco Alarcon.
