Roma have agreed terms with Jack Wilshere’s camp, awaiting Arsenal’s approval

Rome, Italy – Roma have agreed terms with Jack Wilshere’s camp on a loan move, the ball is now on Arsenal’s court, per BBC Sport David Ornstein.

Wilshere was also evaluating loan offers from Premier League sides Watford, Crystal Palace and AFC Bournemouth. Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon and Benfica were also interested in the midfielder.

The 24-year-old agreed with the Gunners last week that he would go out to get regular games following a series of injuries. Wilshere made just one Premier League start last season.

He was also left out of Sam Allardyce’s first England squad for their opening World Cup qualifier away to Slovakia on Sunday, with the new national team boss saying Wilshere needed to play regular football to force his way back in.
