Big Cass Speaks About Rumored Backstage Heat on Enzo Amore

In recent months, there has been a lot of talk about Enzo Amore having some backstage heat. While no one knows for sure what’s going on, someone who could give us a pretty good perspective on the situation would be Enzo’s former partner Big Cass.

Big Cass was interviewed by the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast while he recovers from his torn ACL. While doing the interview, Cass was asked about Amore’s backstage heat and if he’s distanced himself from Amore at all.

During the interview, Cass said that he doesn’t believe his relationship backstage with Enzo has changed, he went on to say that the storyline between them took off but after all it is “just pretend”.

In regards to the backstage heat on Enzo, Cass said he doesn’t think Enzo has changed at all. “The guy you see on TV is the guy that you see in real life. Enzo wouldn’t be in the spot he’s in, he wouldn’t have made it this far if he didn’t act the way he does, so there is good with the bad” Cass said during the interview.

Big Cass is making it sound like that nothing has changed between them backstage even though their storyline has changed. Even though they are bitter enemies on screen, off screen they’re just like they always were.

In regards to Enzo’s backstage heat, I can totally see this being true. In the interview Big Cass said “Enzo is Enzo”. If that is true, then an attitude like that will get under the skin of a lot of people.

I personally use to love Enzo since he was in NXT. Only recently have I looked at him and found him extremely annoying. Now, every time I hear Enzo’s music hit, I see what else is on TV. I don’t know if I’ve just gotten tired of his gimmick or if his cocky attitude is starting to rub me the wrong way too.
