Bray Wyatt, the Eater of Worlds, was on a losing streak after the “Superstar Shake Up” to RAW.

The Story Starts…

Back at Extreme Rules PPV, both were part of the Fatal 5-Way match, and their rivalry developed shortly thereafter.

Rollins called Wyatt a false prophet during a backstage interview. That leads Wyatt to distract Rollins during a match against Joe, costing the match.

Rollins then took the fight to The Man of 1,000 Truths, by attacking him during his entrance on RAW.

On the heels of getting embarrassed by Rollins, Wyatt challenged the protagonist to a match at the first-ever Great Balls of Fire PPV.

And he vowed to destroy him, per WWE Universe on Twitter:

“You are to be cleansed by the flame of a true GOD!”

But surprised many by his recent high-profile wins over Seth Rollins at Great Balls Of Fire PPV.

And then another clean victory over “The King Slayer” again on RAW, the day after the PPV, making it two wins in a row.

The Real Reason?

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this is WWE’s way of keeping a heel on RAW roster strong, and then eventually feud with Roman Reigns later on down the line.

Past Monday Night RAW concluded with a brawl between Reigns, Joe and Strowman that turned a No. 1 contender’s match into a ‘no decision’.

That would seem to point clearly to the four-man match being in the works. If Roman ends up capturing the Universal Title, Wyatt could possibly end up being a challenger for the gold.

In case you didn’t know

Reigns and Wyatt have been rivals on and off, for much of their main-roster careers.

And the two former WWE Champions have shown signs of re-kindling their animosity ever since Wyatt came to RAW.

Bray Wyatt’s next move

With two victories over Rollins, it looks like he needs to defeat Finn Balor to stay in line, for a title shot against Reigns.
