Kurt Angle Confirms Opportunity for Women’s Revolution

The WWE Women’s Revolution certainly has taken off for both Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live. The WWE Universe has seen several types of matches that we never thought the women would be able to participate in. For example, WWE fans have seen a Hell in a Cell match for the Raw Women’s Championship. In that match, Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair were the first female wrestlers to have that opportunity.

This past summer, we even got to witness the first ever Money in the Bank ladder match for the women. Carmella is the one who came out on top, and won the eventual right to the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

Future of Women’s Revolution

Rumors have been flying around that soon, there could be a female’s Royal Rumble. This will be another great accomplishment for the WWE Women’s division. However, there is one match that Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has confirmed that will be happening soon.

What kind of match will it be? A women’s Elimination Chamber match. We could be witnessing an all-women chamber match soon, according to Angle. Kurt replied with:

“It will take time and patience to get it set up, but it will happen soon.”

This could open plenty of possibilities with might could happen. Could you imagine how things would play out if the Raw Women’s Championship was defended in this brutal structure?

Elimination Chamber is Now Safer

Earlier this year in February, the chamber came back. However, it had a slight change. The usual grated exterior surrounding the ring was replaced with a material that was a bit safer to take slams and bumps on. Don’t let that fool you, though. It still hurts a lot to smash into when it comes in contact. But luckily, it’s not completely steel on flesh contact. Regardless, this “safer environment” still has plenty of dangers.

Writer’s Thoughts

An Elimination Chamber match for women? That will be interesting. The Women’s Revolution will continue to dominate the WWE. They will keep experiencing new things and exciting challenges. There will be plenty of women that could make a name for themselves.

October 22 is the Raw PPV, TLC, and that will showcase the debut of Asuka.  I’m almost certain that somehow, the “Empress of Tomorrow” will end up in the chamber.

What do you think about the chamber for women? How bright is the future for the women of WWE? Feel free to comment below and tell us what you think.
