WWE SmackdownLive Title Match, Will Styles becomes the Champ?

SmackDown Live this week, the main event will feature Champion Jinder Mahal vs Aj Styles, for the Smackdown Heavyweight Title.

Announce By Shane Mcmahon…

Styles beat Samir Singh, which prompted the world champion to get involved after the match. Mahal and the Singh Brothers laid out Styles on last week Tuesday night; SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon then sprung into action. On Nov. 2, McMahon turns to twitter to announce some breaking news.

Above also sees Mahal’s reply to the SDLive commissioner.

Styles adds:

Can Styles alter the Survivor Series Raw champion vs. SmackDown champion match?

Styles and Mahal faced each other in a non-title match in Dublin last night, and the outcome of that match could be a sign of what’s to come this Tuesday night.

In the finish of the match, Styles manages to connect his finisher, The Phenomenal Forearm, on The Modern Day Maharaja, and pin him in the middle of the ring, for the three count to get the win.

So this week SDLive certainly will bring a lot more interest, and WWE’s decision to schedule a title defense for Mahal is surprising since he’s already in the middle of a Survivor Series feud with Brock Lesnar. A clash between Styles and Lesnar would be infinitely more interesting, and WWE pay-per-view cards are always subject to change.

Originally, AJ Styles was supposed to go one-on-one with Rusev with the winner earning the final spot in Team SD for their traditional Survivor Series match against Team RAW.

SmackdownLive Champion Injury the case?

There are rumors that Jinder is working through a shoulder injury to carry on his momentum to the tour of India. But the surprise title match with styles this week show raises some eyebrows to fans around the world; is Jinder really in pain with a more serious injury?

Or WWE finally realizes fans aren’t entirely overjoyed, by the prospect of Lesnar vs Mahal in a singles competition. Or is Vince Mcmahon doesn’t want another champion Lesnar to beat Mahal, and he’s just saving it for Super Cena at Wrestlemania 34.

Because it’s been reported that WWE plans to have John Cena as special guest referee, for the Survivor Series match in a bid to boost its profile. And later rumors to have Cena feuding with Mahal, leading to the title match at The Grandest Stage of The All.

Writer’s Note:

It seems like Aj Styles vs Jinder Mahal might get a certain stipulation (possibly a Street Fight), for their title match in Manchester this coming Tuesday. If WWE wants to compete with Bullet Club, i suggest Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to involve in the match.

And then at Survival Series, Finn Balor interfered, costing Lesnar the match, afterwards setting up a match against Finn Balor vs Brock Lesnar, for the title at Royal Rumble.

This will give the much needed buy rates and ratings for WWE.
