Update on Samoa Joe

As we reported in recent articles, Samoa Joe suffered a foot injury during a match with Rhyno, on the January 8th episode of Monday Night Raw.

As of right now, there is no exact date when he will return. There have been several reports, saying mid- March. By the looks of it, If that is true, Samoa Joe has been removed from all live events; until after Wrestlemania 34. However, Joe is still advertised for the WWE’s European tour in May.

WWE noted that they pulled Joe from live events as a precautionary measure, in case they have something set for him to do at Wrestlemania 34. A match was originally set for Joe at Madison Square Garden at a live event, on May 16th, his opponent was John Cena. The match was changed, now it will John Cena and Nikki Bella vs Elias and Bayley.

What do you think is Samoa Joe’s future? When do you think he will return? How long will it be before he’s injured again? Will he reach a title shot? Feel free to comment below and let us know what you think.
